Gardners Director Melanie Langton-Davies was one of handful of Flintshire business people invited to a drinks reception at the Houses of Parliament as part of Flintshire Business Week.

The reception was an informal evening of networking and socialising and MP’s including Peter Hain, Labour MP for Neath and Secretary of State for  Wales Office, David Hanson, MP for Flintshire and Betty Williams, MP for Conwy were just a few of the politicians who also attended.

Melanie Langton-Davies says: “While it was a great opportunity to meet with other Flintshire business leaders, one of my highlights of the evening was chatting to Betty Williams MP.
“Mrs Williams is actually a patron of the Tyddyn Bach Trust charity, who are one of our clients, and she was kind enough to explain the workings of Westminster, which was extremely interesting.”
